Spirits Forever Laughing And Dancing In Isolation by Gabrielle Bates

Features

ARTIST NOTES: When Australia's focus turned from bushfire and flood trauma to Covid-19 panic, the spirits laughed and danced as we squirmed. Whether it is fire, flood or plague, our forgotten spirits, gods and ancestors watch from threshold spaces, wondering why we cant accept or see that we are not in control, not at the top of a fictional food chain, not all that important at all.
