Moved from Melbourne to Portland upon retirement and concentrated more on Art. Have painted oils and/or watercolour for 60 years on a hobby basis, I am now taking art to a higher level and I hope, improved results. I have avoided, either by design or accident, the tendency for artists to be categorized or pidgeonholed into specializing in specific genre's as I am liable to try anything as subject matter that appeals to me. I now have the time, and fortunately, the enthusiasm to produce works that please me and hopefully, the viewing public. My aim being to enjoy the process as much as possible because ultimately, that will be evident in the finished work.
